2HB Incorporated is seeking a Data Scientist in order to support its government customer in Herndon, VA.

We are seeking a well-qualified Data Engineer with ability to help establish a data repository/lake. Qualified candidates should also have a solid understanding of ETL and APIs with the ability to normalize data and perform data configurations. It is helpful to have technical knowledge to ingest/manipulate data, an understanding of Jira and its workflows and how to create dashboards off its data (Tableau).The skills matrix is within the position and provide a rate that fits your candidate's experience and skillsets. 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE 
The Candidate shall ensure, for the duration of the contract, that contractor personnel assigned to work under this contract maintain institutional knowledge and competency level necessary for all required skills, to include demonstrated on-the-job experience.

• Demonstrated experience of appropriate analytic methods and methodological tools in one or more of the following areas: Applied mathematics, computer programming, visualization. 
• Demonstrated experience of collection methods, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of cloud service consumption and spend metrics, and of cloud vendor contract performance metrics. 
• Demonstrated experience of collection methods, capabilities, and tasking process. 
• Demonstrated experience leveraging multiple data management tools to organize relevant information and make decisions. 
• Demonstrated experience translating complex, technical findings into an easily understood narrative in graphical, verbal, or written form. 
• Demonstrated experience multi-tasking and changing focus quickly as demands change. 
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a quantitative or technical field.
